Mitsubishi Digital Electronics has announced the release of the 2010 lineup of new large-screen 3D DLP Home Cinema TVs that bring together 16-speaker, 5.1-channel Dolby Digital surround sound and streaming Internet media capability to offer the ultimate 3D home entertainment experience to the user.
With picture performance that outpaces today’s smaller flat panels,Mitsubishi (News -Alert) has claimed that their 3D-ready Home Theater TVs offer a larger than life, intensely vivid viewing experience. In screen sizes ranging from 60 to 82 inches these TVs deliver incredible picture performance at an exceptional value. They are highly energy efficient, consuming approximately one half the power of similarly sized flat panel TV typically, at around half the price.
DLP technology used in the new TV lineup is up to 1,000 times faster than LCD technology, providing for a more realistic, sharper 2D and 3D viewing experience. It delivers crystal clear, razor-sharp and lifelike images for the ultimate in picture quality and is capable of extremely high contrast ratios providing a stunning viewing experience — crisper whites, ultra-rich blacks and images that “pop” onscreen.
The company has stated the new TVs come packed with innovative features that allow viewers to access an extensive library of high quality entertainment and social media content from the internet and with the built in 16-speaker 5.1 channel Dolby Digital surround sound system they can enjoy those media content with perfectly balanced home theater audio, without the need for separate components.
Max Wasinger, executive vice president of sales and marketing at Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America has commented that 3D is a large screen, immersive experience, and they’re proud to offer consumers the most affordable line-up of 3D TVs available today, in cinema-like 60, 65, 73, and 82-inch screen sizes. 3D represents the highest level and most advanced form of home entertainment, and they clearly see their 3D DLP Home Cinema TVs playing a key role in meeting consumers craving for the best, most advanced 3D home theater experience.
